MarkdownVerse operates entirely client-side. When you paste text into our Markdown Editor, load a plain text file into the Text to Markdown converter, or unzip Microsoft Word documents using the DOCX to Markdown tool, the formatting translation is executed locally inside your web browser.

Your document files, templates, and raw drafts are never sent to external servers or stored in remote databases.

2. Cookies and Browser Data Storage

We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on this website.

To improve your editing workflow, our Markdown Editor utilizes browser local storage (localStorage) to save draft texts locally on your machine. This prevents you from losing your work if you refresh the browser page. You can clear this draft memory at any time by pressing the clean controls inside the editor toolbar.

3. Telemetry and Analytics

We do not track individual users. We monitor aggregate website performance and page request trends using lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics systems. These logs collect only generalized, non-identifying metrics (such as page visit volumes, general browser types, and country locations) to help us optimize server capacity and monitor page loading speeds.

4. Third-Party Script Libraries

Our tools download standard runtime helper scripts (such as Lucide Icons or Mammoth.js for Word parsing) from public content delivery networks (CDNs). These CDNs may collect standard connection metadata (such as IP addresses) required to serve the request. Refer to CDN provider privacy sheets for further information.
